confirm via rk. he is listed as Maria’s father as "No.11 Pöhl Nykäin"
no other children 1754-1762 , but there were children of a Pol Nykain with both Carin Nykain and a Maria Häckin
IGI reveals these two other children and confirms Maria Suhoin as wife
page 282 of roll 59557: a Pol Nykain of Nykala/Pieks. dies at age 67 on 9.4.1738, therefore born in 1671

I have knowledge of 2 Pahl Nykanen from Pieksamaki from the 1700s. one of them was Paavo Tanelinpoika
Nykanen (born 1708, wife Maria Hakkinen) and the other one was one of his
sons Paavo Paavonpoika Nykanen (born 7.3.1736). Unfortunately I dont have
any further knowledge of the latter (whether he was a soldier of whether
he cannot be this Pahl of Neuvola
p 171 of 1737 RK, Haukivuori, has a Pål ( born 1730), son of Hans (died 1738) and Carin Käriäin
“No. 11 Påhl Nykäin” in 1757
“g. trp. Påhl Nykain of Virtsalmi died of “vattsot” on 27dec1783, age 63
