IF LOOKING FOR ALT. PARENTS, THEN look at Surnomäki in Rautalampi because it was not found in Pieksämäki at that time. on p 158 of Pieksämäki 1757- RK,Liutila is a Thomas L, b 1761 to a Pahl, b 1733 who is the son of Pahl b 1697 (wife Helga Marckain b 1701)
In the years 1744-1763 in Pieks. there was only ONE marriage of a Thomas Laitin..this one, he called BolagsmThomas Laitin of Surnomäki, she a widow of Surnomäki
on p 208 of 1771-80 rk in Surnomäki
a couple with these names (Vauchkonen) lived in Pastoratets, Pieksämäki as Torpare during 1783-90..p 430 of RK, Thomas born 1732, Anna birthyear not given. They had a son Samuel b 1756 and son Thomas born 1760.(THESE MUST BE SONS OF EVA PITKAIN). They are still there i 1791-96..p 384 Thomas died 10 apr 1792 and son Samuel died 9 feb 1794, leaving a widow Helena Wauhkoin . Son Thomas is in Pyhitty. a daughter was born; Caisa?. From the 1736-49 Rk, p 49 in Kärkälä there is a Thomas Laitin, wife Malin Korhoin, with a son Pehr with wife ??? who had a Thomas born 1732. Some of these people are found on page 84 of the 1750-57 RK in Lutomäki. Thomas Pehrssson has married by 1757. Overlooking the above about the 1791-96 Rk, I searched 1783-90 in the Bonden sections of Jauhomäki, surnomäki, Pyhitty and Kyrkioby and did not locate them
in Lutemäki: 1757+ RK..P 380. A THOMAS LAITIN B 1675, D 1766 had son Pehr, b 1700, m to Elin Suhoin, they had son Thomas 1732 who is married to Carin Korhain? not quite right? NO
in the Pieks. Rk for 1801-03 there is a couple in Pyhitty 3 with these names, but their birthyears are 1758 and 1770 (hers)!..p 119
pieks. kopiot: a 26.11.1690 birth in Pyhyitty By of a Lars Peerss Laitin. On 11.12.1722 in Mavesi, Lars Laitinen and Maria Tenhutar have Inga, in 1724, they have Pehr. This fits. in Kärkäla by on 21.2.1726, Thom. Laitinen and Magd. Korhotar have Anna.
IGI shows this to be a large family.
