not born in Rantasalmi, but from Asickala at marr.
kuolleet record 7dec1765: "g.t. Joh Jordan svulst 56, Lautakota" (svulst means “swelling”?)
WHERE DID THEY LIVE 1749-1751?
for this Rantasalmi line I have looked at all poss marriage records to 1893 (kopiot and orig.), deaths 1779-1801 and 1851-97 in the orig record books, births to 1866 in orig and kopiot. Have thoroughly reviewed lastenkirja for 1771-1818.
A pig. Anna Jordan of Rantasalmi married on 1 oct 1769 to a Dräng David Loikain of Rauhan, Sulkava.. This seems to be the only family from which she could come. CHECK 1769 RK
I have thoroughly searched through the 1469 pages of the 1848-59 Rantasalmi rk, part 1-3 for Jordans at SLC April 1999. don’t do it again
