My great grandfather was
Abram(9.12.1874) . He married and eventually moved to St. Petersburg. It was
here that my grandfather George Riipinen was born. They left St. Petersburg
in 1905 when my grandfather was 6 weeks old. The name was changed to Rupinen
when my great grandfather set up a tailor shop on 5th Ave in NYC.
