from Tiina Höök:
“Oskar Pyy (1877, Nikodemus´son) was one of the carpenters who made the (old) church of Äänekoski (~1915). That church was burned in summer 1969 by some local man.
And I have the last photos of that building before the fire, my father was here visiting to see his bride ( my mother) and they were seeing places, stopped at the church and taked photo with the church and my father.
Also Oskar Pyy was known by the name Hietama/Hietanen.
He married Maria Otontytär, Äänekoski nro 4, Piilola, Sillanpää torppa
