looked earlier for births of Anna Caisa Pehrsdrs in Saarijarvi 1789-1809, only three possibilities found (the fathers were named Pehr Mattsson in all cases): 1. born Ahola, 7.10.1798, she died in 1800 Liimattala, 2. born 4.4.1800....the prime candidate, seems to have survived to at least age 8
3. born Ahola/Kalmari 4.10.1803...died in 1808 at age 5 There was awful infant mortality in this first decade of the 19th century, and many illegitimate births, prob because of the Wartime conditionsI did not record where I found the marriage date.

From HisKi, a marriage of a “bdr. Anna C. Pehrsdr to drg Johan Åkerlund of Pyrinlax on 25 mar 1825

map check....Liimattala is near the spot where Ida Westerinen was born ("with a fish in her mouth") and must now be a Konginkangas suburb

Anna Caisa Pehrsdr was age 21 in 1832 acc to birth record for Lisa Johanna, but 34 in 1839 for birth of Henric

poss. that she was a widow in Matalo/Pyrinlax No. 4 in 1860, with birth year 1800 (p 388 of 67552 roll RK).

She was a widow in Alatalo 4 during 1850-60, living as boarder with her brother Jacob

The method of approach for finding the correct Caisa (from Sharon Galitz of Beaufort) is 1. check the death records to see which Caisas survived to child bearing age. 2. For the surviving candidates, prepare complete family group sheets, esp. with siblings. 3. find the godparents for Caisa's children from the original records. Godparents are usually siblings of the parent(s); a godparent who has to travel some distance to the christening is especially likely to be a relative. In some places, a female brings the child to the altar, she is called a "bar barnet" and is likely to be a grandmother of the child. Frequently the first two sons were named after their father and grandfather. If a grandfather was recently deceased or about to be, the first son was named after him. On the other hand, if a child was not expected to live long (a twin, e.g.) he was named after the father (or mother if a daughter?)

did she remarry on 1859? check RK, p 388 again or HisKi

The first evidences found, in Saarijärvi, of who his parents were and that he did come from Laukaa are these next two findings of 15Jan2023:

kuolleet: Johan Okker of “andtäppa” age 57, Pyyrinlax No. 3 error- HOW COULD HE BE 57 AT DEATH?

acc to p 305 of 1843-49 rk, they lived in Pyhan Salo in Pyrinlax, then moved in 1849

My search for his parents began about 1998, using rolls of microfilms at the Salt Lake City Mormon History Library and the growing HisKi database.

HERE ARE THE NOTES during the search:

the birth date used here is from p 305 of the 1843+ RK of Saarijärvi, roll 67551. look at page 299 to where they moved in 1849. They moved to Pyrinlax 3, Sunttila torp., lived with or near Johan Mattsson b 10 jan 1792 and his wife Maria Erichsdr b 1792, who are my ancestors, but they seem to have no close family relationship. ..p 299 of 18434+ RK

the only marriage matches for years 1822-1838 in Saarijärvi from the kopiot were for "Johan Johanss. fr. Saarijärvi m. dbr. Anna Pehrsdr." on 14.10.1825. there was also a 18.10.1829 "T. Johan Johanss. fr. Pyrinlax m. pig Anna Johansdr.".....also a 1825 marr. of drg. Johan Akerlund from Pyrinlax with bdr. Anna C. Pehrsdr. (July, 1998...This must be it; Akerlund is possibly alternate for Okker)

In Mattila, Kinnula 2, Ilmolax by, 1845-, p 52 is a Johan Joel Åkerlund with wife Anna Caisa CHECK..no

A Johan Johanss. was father of all these children, all born in Pyrinlax. Anna Caisa Pehrsdr given as mother of all of these children except Hendric where it was Caisa Pehrsdr. Her age was for 1839..none given, for 1833, 33, for 1832, 21 (a mis-write for 31?), for 1837, 31 (mis-read of 37?). Is it coincidence? there was an Anna Brita born to a JJ and Anna Petersdr. of Saarijarvi in 1828 and a 13.9.1840 birth to Anna Pehrsdr. (age 25) and a JJ in Pyrinlax. There are not many Anna Caisa Pehrsdrs in the Saarijarvi records, not even many Pehrsdrs! Are there two Caisa Pehrsdrs in Pyrinlax married to Johan Johanss.? There are several Johan Johanss in Pyrinlax. See the lastenkirja for Pyrinlax, 1840-1845. Look for a birth of an Anna Caisa in 1800.

The name Oikari is associated with Karistala/Pääjarvi

in Hangavesi/Hankasalmi. acc to kopiot, in 1811 a Johan Mattss. Ocker , b 1790 (name underlined) marr. Anna Poyhöin, b 1794?. 16.10.1811 they have a child Catherina (mother aged 15? yes), on 8.1.1813 have Anna in 1829 they have another, mother aged 38.. maybe some more in between?

I looked at Mäntyharju; there were two sections at that time, Russian and Swedish. Found no Pyy births in the Swedish section 1786 to 1799; in the Russian half, at a place called Waldola Pyy (later called Partsima) there were numerous Pyys as father, but no Johan during 1792 to 1810...LOOK FURTHER TO 1816!! JOHAN WAS NOT A FATHER UNTIL 1832... A JOHAN PYY HAD A SON CHRISTER WHO MARRIED IN 1828 (Maybe he also had a Johan?), also no Ocker births. The earliest Pyy birth in Mäntyharju was birth of Liisa to Christer Pyy in 1691. Common early 19th century given names for the Mäntyharju Pyys were Thomas, Sigfrid, Jacob, Joran, Walborg, Anna, Eva, Henric, Christer. Mäntyharju may not be the source of our Pyy family; the name may have been a temporary diversion from Ocker or connected with the place of residence: Pyrinlahti.

in Saarijarvi, Pyrinlax No. 3, on 27.10.1849 an "Inh. Johan Okker (underlined) uppl." dies at age 57 of (and tåppen):::::shortness of breath, asthma.......birth therefore approx. 1792 .....check RK. IGI gives a candidate Johan Ockonen, born 7.2.1796 in Nurmes/Kuopio (a far place) to Johan Ockonen and Carin Timonen. a Inh Johan Oikari, b 3.3.1804 lives in Hankasalmi 1838-43

rippikirja 1850-60, p 386, Has Nicodemus, born 1837, living in Lepiste, Pyrinlax No. 3 with a Johan Johansss Ocker, born 10.2.1840. They move away in 1857. on page 437 (and/or 430) of that same book (roll 67553), both Nicodemus and Johan are at home with ?Aflet. Inh. Johan Ocker and his wife Caisa Petersdr.

in 1841 a Lisa Johansdr Ocker of Karchais 5, Hangasalmi marr Matts Vik of same place. in 1842 Catharine Johsdr Ocker of Hangasalmi m Matts Sirkka. on 24.8.1835 in Rautalampi/Hangasalmi Joh. Jacobsson Ocker m Lisa Olafsdr Hanninen of Hangasalmi . on 30.6.1811 Joh Mattsson Ocker of Hangavesi m Anna Samuelsdr Poyhoin of Hangasalmi. DURING 1811 onwards in Hangavesi, Hankasalmi a Johan Mattson Ocker and Anna Samuelsdr Pöyhoin have many children. Name also spelled Åcker.

I searched every page of the 1822-1830 RK to find a dreng Johan Johansson s.1805, pre marriage. Not found. In the 1814-1820 RK (searched ll pages) there are several Johan Johanssons s. 1804, but the name Åker/Okker is not used for them.. in Saarijärvi 5 Marjomäki is the most likely of these.

He is not found in the Muutaneet of Viitasaari or Hangasalmi. There is no Muutaneet for Laukaa or Saarijärvi.

Vih.: “25.3.1825 Dreng Johan Åkerlund och Bde dotter Anna C. Pehrsdotter 24, Pyrilax”

In Laukaa at “Laukaavirta el Tarvala” there was, about 1800, a farm “Åkeri” a Gustaf Aronsson Okker, s. 1817, came to Saarijärvi from that area.
