acc. to Elaine, her father was Anders Nyström, born 1861, He left Eckerö parish (Ahvenamaa) on Feb 2, 1883, arrived NYC on March 29, 1883.

There were two Anders born in Eckerö in 1861, one of them died young. The surviving one was born 8oct1861 in Marby 5 to Bonde Matts Andersson and Johanna Larsdotter, age 33.
