WHY IS IT THAT NO JORDANS CAN BE FOUND IN THE 1725-32 AND 36-43 RIPPIKIRJA FOR JOROINEN? I carefully looked at Cumbris, Kerisalo, Järvikylä, Häyrilä. did they live on the border of Rantasalmi/Joroinen and then were listed in Rantasalmi? ans. They were among the few people who were listed by patronymic names.
DID THEY ALSO HAVE A DAUGHTER CARIN, B 1727, WHO LATER LIVED IN JARantasalmi Vihityt:IKYLA NEAR MARIA, married Pahr Lappawetel p 97 of 1754+ rk
from search of St. Michel kopiot, no Jordan male parents up to 1752
a letter from Pauli Ikonen of March, 2004 states: (see images, and his grammar is repaired)

on pages 491 and 515... Juho Juho’s son Jordan was kuudennusmies (sexman in Swedish), the ecclesiastical job in the parish, the layman, you know, for the years 1696 and 1697. IS THIS HE OR HIS FATHER?

igi suggsts Pesonens from Rantasalmi mostly, fewer from Kerimaki, very few from Sääminki. None from Pieks. there are 3 beatas born in Rantasalmi about this time

a Beata Pesoin was married to Thomas Jordan (died 1762) he a soldier in Sulkava. Was Thomas a brother of Johan, who married Johan’s widow?
